Why Tyvek?
Tyvek is a quality product from DuPont™. HINDERMANN PROTECTIVE COVERS which are made from this material offer excellent protection against harmful environmental conditions, are very light, extremely breathable, and also very tear resistant and long lasting. It is the only covering solution on the market which is both water resistant and breathable. Tyvek offers the best characteristics of paper, foil and textile and therefore makes it very popular and diverse.

What are the advantages of using Tyvek?
Due to these established material characteristics, there are real advantages for you:

- Light:

The fact that Tyvek is lightweight brings significant savings, as it does not add any additional weight in air freight, road or rail transport. It is easy to handle. Tyvek requires much less space than other materials which are used for the same purpose. This saves storage and transport space, which is financially very advantageous.

- Breathable:

The breathability helps to extend the shelf life of fresh products, protects food against decay and mould, keeps valuable art objects free from moisture damage and protects vehicles against rust.

- Very resistant:

Strong and tear proof Tyvek can be used for robust applications. It proves its physical characteristics and flexibility in a temperature range from -70° to +85°C.

-Water resistant:

Although Tyvek is water resistant and prevents water penetrating, it allows moisture to escape. It is the most effective rain coat that your product can have. The unique fleece structure of Tyvek is weatherproof and is therefore ideal as a protective cover.

- Recyclable:

Tyvek is 100% recyclable and can be used in a wide range of products. It is a valuable quality product which recycling companies are likely to pay top prices for.
